Resting Metabolic Rate Test

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test - Nate Isley

During your 12 minute assessment, the air you breathe out is analyzed to determine precisely how much oxygen your body consumes. Because there is a direct correlation between oxygen consumed and calories burned (4.813 calories for every milliliter of oxygen consumed), an accurate measurement of oxygen consumption is an effective measurement of calorie consumption. This is how we measure your metabolic rate, which allows us to determine how many calories you burn in a day. This will show you how to eat the maximum amount of food and continue to lose weight.
